Step 2: Windows 10 Upgrade Pre-Check
Microsoft is making Windows 10 available as a free upgrade for qualified and genuine Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1 devices.
If you have reserved your Windows 10 upgrade, Microsoft will notify you when your upgrade is ready. You have until July 29, 2016 to take advantage of this free upgrade offer. Once you upgrade, you’ll have Windows 10 for free on that device.
What are the qualifications for the free upgrade?
The only requirements for the free Windows 10 Upgrade are that your device is compatible, and you’re running genuine Windows 7 or Windows 8/8.1.1
Windows 10 is designed to run on Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 PCs. That means your device is likely compatible and will run Windows 10. Not every device will run every feature of Windows 10. To learn more, visit the Windows 10 Specifications page.
Have us perform a Windows 10 Pre-Check
Before attempting the Windows 10 upgrade on your computer, we will need to do a pre-upgrade check/diagnostic on the computer you want to upgrade. This is to make sure your computer will meet the upgrade requirements and that all installed software will run once the upgrade has been completed. We will also identify any problem hardware drivers that may need to be found and installed prior to the upgrade.
The very first thing we will need you to do is go online and schedule a “Windows 10 Upgrade Pre-Check” appointment. Windows 10 Upgrade Pre-Check should be completed prior to scheduling the Windows 10 Upgrade (Pick up and Return). This is performed remotely to make sure that your computer meets the minimum requirements of the upgrade. We will also verify that all installed software and hardware drivers will "To-The-Best" of our knowledge function properly after the upgrade has been completed. Although it's not required that the customer be present while we check the computer, it is highly recommended in case we have any questions. This process should take no longer than maybe 30 minutes to complete.
This service is included at no additional charge for all current Remote Support Plan customers.

What our customers are saying about Windows 10 after upgrading:
I’ve been using Windows 10 on the laptop for about a week and half now and it’s been great! Just as easy as 7 and with more options. My only complaint would be the way they are doing the games now with advertisements.
Carol Chula Vista, Ca September 3, 2015
I’VE EXPERIENCED NOTHING NEGATIVE WITH WINDOWS 10. Windows 10 is as advertised. I recommend that you have Doc install it for you. He’s tested it enough that your experience will be painless.
Bob El Cajon, Ca September 9, 2015
Going from Windows 7 to 10 was painless but I don’t really do anything exotic with my laptop so I haven’t really given 10 a very strenuous test. So far, so good. My wife is still using 7 but she wouldn’t have any difficulty shifting.
